I have 4K Firesticks with Channels DVR and whole home networking with my NAS. ATSC1 works fine in the home (or remotely) on all devices with this setup. But when I tried one of my 4K Firesticks outside the home (remotely), via Channels DVR, I can only stream ATSC1 channels. My 4K Firestick locks up when attempting to view any ATSC3 channels remotely.
My router is set up with port forwarding, and again no issues viewing ATSC1 channels outside the home. What additional measures must be taken to allow ATSC3 channel viewing outside the home with this setup? Note: I have tried the playback settings on the 4K Firesticks on "hardware" decoding mode versus software decoding, but it doesn't make any difference where the ATSC3 channels are concerned when attempting to view remotely.
