Went with this

My Android phone with Google chrome browser

is your server even up and running ? you installed it on the laptop make sure it is running access the web page from your laptop.... that should be part of trouble shooting always make sure local access is working.

I can access the server on every device even the app on my Phone.

So run the trouble shooting it could be the firewall.

It's. A firewall thing. Should I make Channels Private and Public?

I went with this one and love it. Just the right size.

Well contact support. These simple comments back from you are not helping ... you give no details so please contact support.

It's as simple as right clicking the start button. Scrolling up to power and when the power widget opens, selecting don't sleep. One can also select do nothing on lid close.

An old laptop or even a new one like this makes a fine channels server. I ran channels on a 15 year old I-3 without issue by making those two changes.

Just go with a refurbished Dell Optiplex Micro. They come in around $200, throw Debian on there and you're good to go. I have one that runs both Plex and Channels.

EDIT: I buy them (I actually have 3) from Amazon.com's refurbished store and they ship with cheap Keyboard / Mouse (mice)

The same $200 will get you a brand new N100 that will draw about 1/3 the power.
