YTTV DIY/Magnolia error access denied, missing package

I just added YouTube TV as a source (HuluLive will not authenticate) to determine if it's going to be my replacement for Hulu Live. I got all the channels we wanted to watch to scan properly (following the "no 2FA"guidance).

However, DIY/Magnolia gives the error reference above: access denied, missing package.

I tried rescanning many times, but it still gives the error. Update to latest pre-release version, but no joy.

Any advice?

Thank you!

Is that TVE channel 6108? If so, that doesn't even show as an option in my YTTV TVE lineup:

That's one I get via ADBTuner, using an HDMI encoder and the YTTV app:

Yes, it's channel 6108. It's in the overall list of channels scanned in the YTTV lineup. It also shows as an available channel on the YTTV website, and I can access it via the YTTV app on my Apple TV. It was available when I was using Hulu Live, but I cannot get that source added back.

Unlike what it shows here for Channels DVR YTTV TVE

You don't get Magnolia, but you do get Motortrend

I got all the rest that it shows plus some, listed here Have the Issues with YouTube TV been fixed? - #23 by chDVRuser

When I followed your link, it shows Channel 6108 (Magnolia) as available with TVE. DIY became Magnolia on Channel 6108.

I am not sure what YTTV issues you're asking about. The link in your post referred to Docker. I am running it on a Mac, and had no problems (other than Magnolia) when I used a generic email without 2FA,

Correct. What I'm saying is that list is wrong. We don't get Magnolia (it says we should), we get Motortrend (is says we shouldn't).

I was pointing to that post of mine to show you what channels I do get and the error messages for those I don't get

@maddox @tmm1 The channel listings for YTTV here are incorrect. We cannot get Magnolia, but do get Motortrend Channels Support - TV Everywhere Availability

Thanks, I misunderstood your last post and missed the comment that we can't get Magnolia on YTTV. From the earlier posts in the same thread I got the impression a new version fixed it. Strange that Hulu Live gets Magnolia on TVE but YTTV doesn't. (Or at least Hulu Live did until a week ago when I got booted and it will not even recognize my login when I try to add it as a source in Channels.)

Are you also getting 6114 MOTORTREND?
This says we shouldn't be getting it YTTV channels
Here's what I see when I link YTTV as my provider at go.discovery.com

Is everyone else using YTTV seeing the same thing, or is it just me?

I just signed up for YTTV a couple weeks ago.

After my initial addition of YTTV as a source I had to rescan MotorTrend, and it was successful. I did not link YTTV as a provider at go.discovery.com. I did go to the Magnolia website and there was no linking to a provider there. (Makes me wonder how Hulu Live had it as a TVE channel...).

Use one of the discovery websites, like go.discovery.com
Link your provider
Scroll down to select from the discovery networks

Selecting Magnolia displays

Strange, I can watch Magnolia on the YTTV App in my Apple TV, or via the web, so it's clearly in my TV package.

Also in mine (when watching at tv.youtube.com), but it appears they're not paying Discovery Networks for TVE access to those channels (Science, Magnolia, Destination America, Cooking, AHC, Discovery Life).

Hopefully Fancy Bits will correct the listing

If not, maybe they'll figure out how to get us Magnolia via YTTV TVE.
