I have 7 Apple TV’s and 1 of them is listed 3 times when attempting to select a specific Apple TV for Channels shortcuts actions. Is there anyway to purge these multiple occurrences?

Yep, Settings > Support You can remove clients from there.
Apple makes it very tricky to fingerprint unique devices due to their intense privacy stance. So sometimes they’ll end up as dupes.
