2 homes each with DVR

I have 2 homes - Houston and Toronto (Canada). Channels is on both Apple TVs and have Mac mini in both locations.
Will I need 2 subscriptions to Channels DVR or can I use the same username/1 subscription for both locations?
Thanks

You can use a single subscription, but you will only be able to enable Remote Access on one of the DVRs.

I am having some troubles with Remote DVR. When in Houston, I can access Toronto with Remote DVR and stream channels and recordings with no issues. However, as soon as I turn on Channels DVR on my computer at Houston, I can no longer see Toronto or its recordings. Is there any workaround? Enabled Remote DVR preference at Toronto and Disabled Remote DVR preference in Houston.

This is the expected behavior. If there’s a local DVR it always gets preference, and you can only be connected to one DVR at a time.

You can toggle Bonjour on the local DVR to make it “disappear”.

So not being able to see the remote channels when running the DVR software is normal too?

Yes, the remote channels come in via the remote DVR connection. So when you’re connected only to the local DVR they’re not accessible.
