These two are missing:
BBC FOUR HD
QVC Beauty HD
They're probably down in the SD channel section. If the HDHR does a channel scan whilst those channels aren't actually broadcasting, it sometimes misses that they're HD channels.
Plex has a way around that. It shows all 16 HD UK freeview channels. Channels always misses some. Sometimes BBC Four.
Must be a way around it? Otherwise HD selection is always wrong.
Yes, Hdhometun rescan sometimes misses off bbc four. Sometimes not. Same with some other channels.
QVC Beauty HD was broadcasting at the time of the rescan though?
I don't think Channels has a way to force recognise a channel as HD since it's an issue in how the HDHR scans channels. It doesn't seem to affect anything in everyday use other than the affected channel isn't listed in the HD category if you've filtered the EPG that way. Since I use the Favourites or All Channels filters and because it still receives its correct channel number and position in the EPG, I've not bothered to look further into fixing it.
I've always found the QVC HD channels to act a bit strangely, even when they are actively broadcasting.
Discovered I can remove channels from the HDHOMERUN admin and only leave the HD channels, so all is well now.
I didnt even know there was that many free to air HD channels in the UK. I cant offer any help on this issue sorry.

Just normal freeview. I’m East Midlands. You can see the guide I’m using in the second picture on the first post. There are 16 HD channels.

Appologies dont mean to clutter up your post with unrelated stuff. One more question what clients are you using to watch tv/dvr on and are they trouble free?
Mainly The shield. Never had trouble.
