With SHR you can mix different size drives. It is also easier to expand Storage as you can add bigger drives one at a time to increase storage and not lose data.
Say You have 2 4TB drives in SHR ...
You can add a 8TB have it rebuild then add another 8TB and not lose data.
I switched it to SHR. Now my NAS is all set. I will proceed with Channels this morning.
I am not able to log into my Synology Quick Connect from my phone, or in a web browser. After I enter my ID, it doesn't accept any passwords. There is no password reset option either. I have QuickConnect enabled in my Synology control panel. I do not have anything under the DDNS, Router configuration or the Advanced tabs.
