24/7 Channel buffering, won't resume

6700 (Adult Swim) Rick & Morty channel, and the others that are one show 24/7...

I have noticed fro a while now, that it plays fine during the program, but the stream with pause, then just sit and buffer, with the progress bar increasing forever. This happens during episode transitions, they don't have commercials but, its alike to such breaks.

I try to seek back forth, but it remains paused. have to close then reopen the channel to get it back.

I recall seeing a report of this behavior before, but can not find exactly the post on it or specific to these 24/7 stream channels.

I have submitted diags from the android tv app the last few times this has happened.

I have noticed this as well. In my case it occurs when the Audio Driver is set to Experimental. I leave it on Default and it seems to be ok.

I don't know what u mean by "Audio Driver".
There are no option to change that on my Shield TV.

I do have the option to change the video decoder, to software or hybrid, but that does not change anything for this.

This is still an issue.
Make it hard to watch those channels.

This continues to be a issue, even on latest beta.
I have submitted diags from the app numerous times.
Any chance of getting this fixed?

Also i notice that just watching the channel live, the buffer continues to grow and you get behind the time line by aways. and if u try to seek forward, it wont resume or locks up entirely.

I too have seen this issue with the adult swim channels. It appears to happen at the commercial break. But once this happens, I just back out of the channel and then select it again and it streams fine until the next commercial. Hopefully the devs can find a fix!
