On My Sony A95L Google TV, the Channels DVR App plays old series and movies in 16:9 aspect ratio even though they play correctly on my PC MS Edge Browser and Iphone 15 Pro and iPad Pro. There is no setting to force 4:3 programmes to play in 4:3 on the Android TV App or to default to the original format as recorded. The stretch to fit option is off on the clients and no option in Google TV to keep to original format that I can see.
Anyone else have this issue or have solved it if they had this issue. I am in the UK and recording old movies and series from the Talking TV channel where most content is in 4:3 aspect.
