Hi all - New to Channels and love it so far.
I’ve been from my local Cox cable boxes to Windows MC back to Cox cable boxes and now trying out ATV with Channels. I’m seeing, on a few channels, some stuttering similar to what I remember seeing on my Windows MC when there was the dreaded “59hz bug”…where some content was not 60hz but 59hz and caused stuttering. Specifically, I’ve seen this on the Hallmark channels. Is anyone else seeing this?

We have a similar issue in the UK but on a much larger scale. All UK broadcasts are at 50hz. The only solution we could find here was setting the actual Apple TV setting to 1080p 50hz. It’s in the Audio and Video settings.
Unfortunately on other apps (Netflix as an example) changing to 50hz can then causes a slight blur to the picture as they want to output at 60hz and can’t. So your damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
I’ve raised it a few times but feedback is nothing can be done which is frustrating.
Boy I wish we could. It’d mean 24p output for movies. Which is one of my biggest gripes about the Apple TV.
