7.0 commercial detection playback issue

Since the 7.0 update more often than that when I go to playback a recording on Apple TV, the commercial detection markers are missing. Even if I exit recording come back, they are still missing. I find I have to force close the Apple TV channels DVR app reopen it and then the commercial detection markers are there. I have three Apple TVs throughout my house and I see this issue on all of them.

And the pictures I'm including you can see the iPad showing the same recording and the commercial markers are present but the Apple TV in the background does not and then it the final image it does after I forced closed and reopened the ChannelsDVR app.

Seeing the same issue on Apple TV's, very sporadic. (I hadn't checked iPad). Ironically on the same show (CBS Sunday Mornings)! DVR running on Mac mini (m4) very well overall.

The issue is watching recordings that are currently in progress. There's a known bug where commercial indicators do not pop in (like they used to) after commercial indexing has completed.

  1. Start watching a recording (no commercial indexing has happened)
  2. Recording completes (commercial indexing starts)
  3. Commercial indexing completes
  4. timeline does not update to show commercial markers

Again, this is known issue on the tvOS/iOS version.
