A Collections question

I created a new Collection. It's simple, just Soccer.

When I pull it up, it only shows things from OTA, HULU, and built in channels. It does not scrub Pluto TV, Samsung Channels or Plex Channels.
If I turn off collections and pull up the default sports, it will show a bunch more soccer.
Is it something I am doing wrong or is there a limitation I am unaware of?
I've looked through the forums and didn't see an answer.
I also created a SPORTS collection and selected all the sports genres available and same thing. does not pull in any Custom Channels.
Though when I created an MLB Collection it pulled in my MLB.TV Custom Channel. SO is it something with Collections and Pluto/Samsung/Plex/Specific Custom Channels or am I doing something wrong?
Server is on newest Daily and viewing on my phone (IOS) and via web/server.

Have you manually found an event that it missed on those sources and examined it to see if it is tagged with soccer?

How do I check? I would think they are since they show up in the Default Sports, so they have some sort of Meta. If I do a search of the the word Soccer, the Collection is even worse than using a Tag. So I guess I am just confused on how it searches.

It looks like those sources are not tagging items as "Soccer" in the guide data they provide. Channels does not have control over guide data from your Custom Channel sources.

Custom Channels like those don’t have fine grained genres and metadata like that, so they won’t show up. Classic garbage in garbage out.

Makes sense.
Can you add back the default “sports” that we lose when we add Collections? That seemed to grab a lot of the Custom Channels.

You can create this yourself by just adding a Channel Collection with an Automatic Channel rule to set Content Type to Sports. This is exactly what the included one does.

Is there anything we can provide in the xml tv so that my eplus sports and my tve / gn sourced sports don't collide?
Any way to get Channels to coalesce a proper tms program, series, team id from xmltv to reduce my admin overhead for some sports DVR'ing?

Putting in the correct tms program / series doesn't make a difference, as far as recognizing the "Team Pass" element.
