ABC Descriptive Audio can’t be turned off

I’ve only seen this on Saturday mornings, but I think that’s because that is when ABC has programming that includes “descriptive audio”

The AppleTv had descriptive audio turned off

But the descriptive audio still plays often on top of the normal audio track

I submitted diagnostics

Happens in both the regular and beta versions of the app

Also shows up in my YouTubeTv app which makes me think this is ABC’s, or my local affiliate’s, problem. If true what should I be telling them so they know they are doing something wrong ?

Just checking in here to see if there’s something I’m doing wrong ?

I have the same problem. It seemed to start when ABC went to ATSC 3.0 here in Houston. We DVR several local channels but it only seems to happens on ABC. I have checked my Apple TV settings also and all is right. Hoping for a solution as well.
