Looks like the system is set on the default stuff that plays when they want to block ads.
ACB isn't working here either but it is at the stream level.
i'm willing to bet they moved it to new DRM protected feeds.
Looks like the ABC7 local news channels from NY, LA, SF, etc are out now too. They were working yesterday when I checked the other Disney channels. I guess that greedy mouse doesn't want us recording anything they own.
ABC OTA via HDHomerun & antenna is off also.
OTA is not affected on ATSC 1.0 channels
Looks like you’re having issues with either your HD HomeRun or antenna system. That's the screen I get when reception goes bad on distant stations. You might want to perform a rescan from the HD HomeRun app. If the channel goes away, you should report in the HD HomeRun forum on how to fix. It's very likely your HD HomeRun is going bad. Your issue looks more like a HD HomeRun problem and not a Channels issue.
I can confirm on DirecTV with any Disney properties, I just get a splash screen with the channel's logo and that's just about it.
Looks like I will just be using Channels for recording OTA shows, and if the broadcasters are successful in switching all OTA to DRM 3.0 even that will come to an end. I could deal with going to the YTTV app when I wanted to see CNBC but losing all of Nat Geo, Fx, Disney is too much and more than I am willing to keep changing apps for. Also, I noticed other TVE streams have been getting flaky, like HGTV dumping out of shows for a commercial in the middle of a segment.
YTTV moving to position 1 on my Apple TV's. Channels has held that position for years and unfortunately when my Channels subscription comes up for renewal this summer it may be time to let go.
Getting the same on Spectrum.
Edit: TVE works in the browser. I’m hopeful it’s just an update needed on the Channels side.
Over the last 5 years I have amassed a collection of all our favorite classic movies and TV series. We don't really watch live TV much any more. At this point, we could probably live without it. We can't stand commercials. So, even live events get recorded so that we can skip the ads.
If you are talking about the Channels browser window it does not work, if you mean one of the actual Disney websites well of course that will work, that is behind their paywall.
Same on WOW tv in Alabama. It's been a good ride.
Having the same issue this sucks smh.. Via Spectrum
That is the Spectrum feed that you pay for, that is not TVE. It is Spectrums subscriber only feed of their cable channels.
Same issue with Logo in the center of the screen and doing nothing.
Xfinity and Hotwire streams
My OTA source has started working now. I thought it just too coincitdental that both OTA (channel 9.1) and TVE (channel 6001) sources would quit working at the same time.
OTA works fine. It wouldn’t make any sense for those to quit working.
Well, this makes me sad, especially with the new Multiview feature of Channels, where I could combine OTA sports and TVE sports channels. Of course, I can still do it with non-Mouse channels... for now.
But this is not unexpected, I guess.
I was really hoping I’d see someone say that Disney forgot to renew their SSL certs or something since it was right on Feb1.
My cable card service will be ending soon and now TVE is disappearing. We watch ABC and NatGEO most of the time and occasionally PBS and CBSFox for football. I was hoping to just keep Channels with TVE but not sure where this leaves me.
