Ability to exclude criteria on channel collections

I love channel collections. The issue comes when you want to focus them down and exclude criteria. For instance, I want to create a movie collection and I don't want to include horror movies. I can exclude a source but I cant exclude a genre. I end up having to select every genre except horror which is time consuming. You can also add keywords but you can't exclude them. It would be helpful to have this functionality as well.

The other issue is with the combination of manually added channels as well as automatic channels. This works but you can't adjust the sort order between manual/automatic channels, add additional separate logic to the same collection, exclude specific channels, or exclude live.

Here is my use case:
I am a Nats fan. However I cannot stand the announcers on MASN which is my regional sports network. I like to watch the away feeds for my team.
I want to have a Baseball channel collection that does this:
1st rule segment - automatic collection, keyword "Washington Nationals" Exclude MASN - appear at the top of the collection
2nd rule segment - automatic collection, sports, live, baseball
3rd rule segment - automatic collection, source all of my other mlb channels, live EXCLUDED.

Now I have channel collection instead of 3. I can see my team at the top of the list, all other live games below it (excluding MASN), then all mlb channels at the bottom that I can scroll right and view the schedule.

I get it, but having includes and excludes makes it way more complicated than you’d imagine. It also means a more complicated interface for building Automatic Channels, which makes them way less approachable.

For now, we’ve got no plans to make any changes to how they work.

But the feedback is super useful as we look into the future.

We’d like to build a massive channel manager that takes all of the individual features we’ve built snd sort of wrap them all together in a more cohesive experience. This could be an opportunity for more advanced Automatic Channels.
