Ability to rescan Playon Folder to fix Netflix episode numbering

I used Playon to capture Seinfeld from Netflix. There are a couple of instances where the series had a part 1 and part 2 for an episode. These were originally shown as two separate episodes. However, Netflix has combined the 2-part episodes into one episode. As a result, the episode numbering is off.

For example, the series final 4 episodes should be S9E21, S9E22, S9E23 and S9E24, but Neflix combined E21 and E22 and lists it as S9E21 and combined E23 and E24 as S9E22. This causes Channels to list both episodes with the same title since it thinks it is part 1 and part 2.

In an effort to fix it, I copied the final episode out of the Playon folder, deleted the entry in Channels and then renamed the final episode file to S9E23 and copied the file back into the Seinfeld folder. However, Channels has not picked up the change. Is there a way to have Channels rescan the folder so it sees the new episode? Is there a better way to fix the issue?

Channels does not scan that folder.

You can move the file into Imports/TV

Thanks for the response. So if I wanted to keep all the series files together, would I first copy them to the Imports/TV folder, then delete the show from within ChannelsDVR so it isn't listed twice?

Yes you can use DVR Database > Maintenance > Manage and click Trash All under Missing/Deleted
