Access DVR server from a network pc

I installed Channels DVR sever on my pc. Then, I decided to use an unused PC instead. So, I installed the server software on that Pc instead. Now, when I try to access the admin tab through the link provided when I log into my subsctiption on GetChannels.com, I get the following error:

This site can’t be reached

Check if there is a typo in dvr-desktop-r9je8l0.local.

  • If spelling is correct, [try running Windows Network Diagnostics](javascript:diagnoseErrors()).

DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

I'm sure I just missed a step, but. after spending all of last night trying to figure it out, I'm ready to cry Uncle. Can some kind sole put me in the right direction?

Your original installation is probably still linked, so it is trying to go to that location. Follow these directions for migration, but you can skip all the import stuff. Most of all, you need to turn off the discover stuff on the old PC:

Also, instead of going to GetChannels.com, go to https://[YOUR SERVER NAME OR IP ADDRESS OR LOCALHOST ON THE SERVER PC]:8089
