Accessing activity remotely

Set up a Siri shortcut to show me the 'Activity' under https://xxxxxx.u.channelsdvr.net:8089/dvr in an alert on my iPhone so I can press a shortcut and see what is currently being played.

But I can only use the shortcut if my phone is on the same wifi.

The link works in my browser remotely but in Siri Shortcuts remotely it wants me to log in before it will give me the info.

Just looks abit nicer in an alert than in JSON form in the website.

Just wondering if there was a way to pass shortcuts the login info or if that's too complicated for Siri Shortcuts.

For context: I only have 1 tuner on a HDMI capture setup - so if someone wants to jump on the same tuner they can run the shortcut to quickly see if anyone is watching anything and if so which channel they are on.

@Maddox would the homepage widget have this info? or is homepage limited to local devices only?

I just gave this a try. It is working for me using both browser and also through a Siri shortcut. Might be a cookie thing. Try logging out and back in on remote connection then creating the Siri Shortcuts while on cellular. If this pic is what you are trying to do?

Strange.

Will give it another go when I get some time.

So Siri Shortcuts was about to load the /dvr JSON and show you in info inside the shortcuts app and while connected remotely?

All I did was create a Siri Shortcuts named “activity” to open my url /dvr, disconnected from WiFi, and said “hey siri run activity shortcuts” Siri then opens the web browser to the above screenshot.

Oh okay.

Yep I can get it to work in the browser but I had it trying to open like this screenshot so it was abit easier to see what was being streamed.

Was seeing if I could get that to work via shortcuts so my family could press the icon on their phone and see that come up - rather than the JSON file in a browser.

But may not be possible.
