Accidentally Deleted Some Channels In Channel Collection

I got trigger happy and was in the wrong channel collection and deleted a bunch of channels I shouldn't have. Anyway to restore/undo?

You should be able to restore them from a database backup. You will not have direct access to anything you recorded from after the backup time and will have to reschedule any new recording jobs.

Yep, backup would be your only option. There's no undo or restore or trash for this operation.

Thanks! That did it. Now, is there an elegant way to get access back to the programs I recorded since last backup? I notice they are still on the server. I'm thinking that I could just basically move them to my local library - would that be the best way to handle it?

Yep, you'll have to import them manually using Local Content.

Ok, one last question... since it's actually doing a copy from the DVR directory to my Library directory... how do I delete the abandoned recordings from the DVR directory? I tried just trashing them from my Mac (the server is running on a WD MyCould PR2100 as a share) and it won't let me.

Sounds like a permission issue, you'll have to figure out why it won't work. You can try deleting it directly from your NAS admin.
