During a routine backup, I accident wiped the Channels data drive (not where Channels is installed). Aside from loosing any recordings, logs, etc. will this affect me going forward. Channels has recreated the folder structure and all seems well but I want to be sure I haven't missed something.

That's unfortunate. A weakness of Channels DVR is that the configuration backups are stored in the same directory structure as the configuration. It would be great if an there was an option to have the backups placed in the location of our choice.
Because of this deficiency, I have a script that runs nightly to copy the config file to a share on a different device.
