The Activity states Idle most of the time when a client is streaming a OTA channel from my HDHR Connect Quatro. It shows fine for TVE streams. It shows sometimes when a user is watching a OTA channel, and it does show when it is recording, or processing recordings. I was using DVR 2019.12.05.0128 noticing this.
I am on DVR version 2020.01.09.0819 right now, and it is not showing activity at all for OTA as of now. The server log shows the connections activity fine.
When watching live, you’re connected directly to the HDHR. The server isn’t involved.
Odd...as it always showed when someone was a channel when I had my Prime tuner.
Also, like i said, it does sometimes show when a client is watching say 4.1 etc.
Is it supposed to show activity at all times?
If Tuner Sharing is turned on in the client app, it will show up, as it’s then going through the server.
Ah. That woudl explain things. I recently disabled tuner sharing....so that woudl be why it not show up now. Thanks.
