Collections is a great new feature but getting to them is a bit buried. I setup 2 TV collections: wife’s shows and my shows using smart labels. Works great but it would be much better for our use case if getting to a collection was easier (Apple TV). I am trying get my wife to move from Tivo (we had separate DVRs) to Channels and if would help greatly if Collections was an option on the sidebar for quick and easy access…..if not on the sidebar then can it be at the top of the TV or Library sections? Maybe there is an options somewhere to do this that I am not aware of?

Collections are AWESOME but having to go to 2 or 3 navigation steps to get to them stinks. I know first world problems lol.

It's possible to have them show in the guide drop-down menu.
If your wife is OK launching the Channels from her iPhone (assuming she has an iPhone), you can configure a Shortcut to open the Channels app on a given Apple TV (which will also turn on the Apple TV) and go directly to a collection. I use this for the TV shows I watch while working out and find it really helpful.

Those are channel collections….I am asking for library collections. The similar names are confusing and the developers might want to change ‘channel collections’ to something like ‘custom guides’ or ‘guide groups’.

I'm talking about library collections. Here's what my shortcut looks like:
The "Show" action lets me pick from my library collections.
My reply was to the post above about adding to drop down guide menu.
Thanks for the short cut suggestion but I think my wife will not use but I might.
You can add Collections to the side bar now.

can you add the individual collection to the side bar? instead of clicking collections/movies/unwatchedmoves.
