As the title says, in the video player it would be so much easier to watch if you could simply swipe forward or back to skip forward and back. I've had TiVo apps for years and that feature has been in there, with just a few swipes you can easily skip through commercials. It saves you having to tap the screen and then click the forward and back buttons.
This exists. While watching on iOS, swipe on the right or left sides for forward or back
