It seems the only option for this is the base folder for plex instead of choosing the TV folder specifically. Will it only ever read the Plex folder named "TV Shows" or will it pick up other content from other non-standard named folders?
Running this on Synology if it matters?
Everything else seems to be setting up correctly.
I was out of it.
I needed to give permissions to channels to have access to the folder structure. You don't need to give permission to see the top level folder which is what threw me until I remember have the issue when I originally set up plex.
Right click on the folder in question and you can edit permissions.
I am safe to assume if a episode exists in plex it won't be downloaded again for DVR until I choose to enable downloading again.
