Adding source 'Videos' issue

Adding a 'Videos" source to the local libraries isn't working for me.

I tried many times yesterday, I added my source folder, Channels shows 1 folder and no videos. There are 30 videos in that directory, all MP4. I tripled checked permissions and they were all fine. Same permissions as my 'Movies' folder which also works just fine.

I'm not sure if this is a Synology specific issue, as the logs didn't provide any details of not finding any videos. My setup is listed below. Any help appreciated - running latest pre-beta.

They need to update the documentation.
You need to add the "root" folder for videos, like you would for TV Shows.

videos - "root folder"
videos/a_video_group (a video group named a_video_group)
videos/a_video_group/videofile1.mp4 (video file in group a_video_group)
videos/a_video_group/videofile1.mkv (video file in group a_video_group)

videos/b_video_group (a video group named b_video_group)
videos/b_video_group/videofile1.mp4 (video file in group b_video_group)
videos/b_video_group/videofile1.mkv (video file in group b_video_group)

Ok, so videos simply placed in the root will not be imported? So I need add folders to root. I'll give that a shot!

Yes, the folders you add to the root videos folders become video groups and are named the same as the folder names you add.

Thank you!! Appreciated!
