Address while watching in Firefox

This isn't a Channels specific issue per say, but it does appear while watching Channels. Has anyone figured out how to get rid of the address that appears in the bottom corner of Firefox while watching full screen? I've tried some things in the about:config section of Firefox, but I've never been able to figure it out. Maybe it can't be done, but that's pretty poor from Firefox as other browsers don't have that issue.

Try choosing Watch Now > Full Player
Full Player

Then click the Full Screen icon at the lower right in the player window
Capture

Yeah, that's how I do it. But it shows http and the local path to Channels server in the bottom corner. I know it's a FF thing because it happens when streaming video from websites as well.

Strange, I don't see that.
Must be a theme, config setting or add-on/extension.

I know exactly what you are talking about. Once you start playing, before going to full-screen, hover over the stop button with your mouse. Then move away from there and make it full screen. It will be gone.

Strange. What OS are you running Firefox on?
I don't see it in Windows 10 Firefox.
I also don't have a stop button if I launch it with Watch Now > Full Player

But I do see what you're talking about in the lower left if I launch it with Watch Now > Web Player
Capture

Yep, you see it. I get that both in Windows 10 and 11, and only on Firefox. I figured this out some time back with experimentation and don't even think about it anymore. Figured it was such an off-situation that it was not even worth reporting.

I think the reason I never saw it was for full screen viewing I either use
Watch Now > VLC
or
Watch Now > Full Player

Okay, so I see what you meant by Full Player. I guess I was using the Web Player because I was just always clicking directly on the Watch Now and not the drop down.

Thanks. I thought I was going crazy because one time I was watching it full screen, then I minimized it back to the web player window, went back to full screen and it was gone. The next time I tried that again and it was still there. Now I know it was dumb luck that I hovered over the stop button the first time.

This is off topic, but how did you get your Watch Now stuff to show in black? When I run from a browser, the background in Channels is only white.

In Firefox, install the extension "Dark Reader":

Yep, that's what I use
