On the DVR admin, you have this section for recordings and passes defaults.
I notice when creating a new pass, "new episodes" is the default behaviour, which is fine.
However, I generally am changing this to "all episodes", because i'm finding that the UK Freeview guide is not always tagging TV shows with "new" when it should do. For example Match Of The Day has a midweek episode which will air on 31/08 on BBC1, and while not technically a new show in terms of it's name - it is a new airing not seen before for the matches that were on that day.
So in order to capture episodes like this, it's better for me to set the pass to just record all episodes and then prune accordingly.
However, I cannot see anywhere to change the default behaviour for series passes when they are created.
Would you consider adding this to the above options? Then I can change the default to 'all episodes'. Then when a pass is created, I don't have to flip the option every time.
