I created a pass to record “All Episodes” of a show, rather than only new episodes. My expectation was that all episodes would be recorded as they aired, but each individual episode would be recorded only once. However, I am finding that the same episode is recorded multiple times if it is aired often. Is this the intended behavior?
What show are you seeing this on? This would only happen if the guide data was not properly identifying episodes, which sometimes happens for really old shows that are being re-run.
The show is “How the Universe Works” on The Science Channel.

In my case, I'm recording Big Bang Theory on TBS.
I have the recording set to "all episodes", and the DVR sometimes records multiple copies of the same episode.
