I have had Sling Blue for over a year and everything worked fine.
Now all channels - History, A&E, etc showing Not Authorized.
I tried re signing into Sling but same problem.
Not recording anything at all now.
As of this morning the few remaining Sling channels that still worked in Channels DVR including FoxNews all say Not Authorized. We already lost Bravo and a bunch of others as well. Looks like this App is being forced into becoming nothing more than an OTA DVR. Really frustrating because I've loved this App since day 1.
It isn't Channels fault in most if not all cases. It is the stingy provider not supporting TVE as I understand it. Hopefully the guys at Channels will comment. Maybe it is time to give Sling the boot. Anyone know of any Steaming Services that fully support TVE? or is this TVE functionality quickly becoming a relic of the past? Looks like all the content providers are killing it?
Pretty much any of the major providers except sling.
Sling is a complete waste of time.
If you can get one of the other providers, you will do a lot better.
Hulu is really bad about updating TVE access.
The providers want you on their apps rather than using TVE.
Hulu plus Live TV doesn't have any of the Halmark channels nor do they have News nation on TVE.
Fox here in the Los angeles area is becoming useless.

Pluto doesn't have half the channels I watch
Spectrum's app is terrible and won't even work on android boxes
Youtube doesn't even have the History channel!

Yup. That is todays world. You have to subscribe to multiple things to live that streaming life and to watch what show you want cause all are spread out across different platforms. There are way to many streaming services now.
Even having a ye olde cable tv subscription won't guarantee you reliable access to the streaming aspect of TVE. (only reliable way is to have CATV and a Cable Card tuner, but many cable companies no longer offer them, or charge alot for them now)
That all being said, i primarily use Philo for my TVE needs. Been 99% reliable. Only had one auth hickup issue a while back. Whereas, have had many issues many times with Xfinity auth. I rarley use the Philo app itself.
I haven't had any problems with FOX KTTV using DirecTV credentials.

For what ever reason, I'm getting kdfx and as of now as in when the fox now app was killed, The TVE feed for me was killed.
Hate when this happens.
