Just using the live TV app
Just following up on this, as you confirmed that Channels is back working correctly on the latest firmware I spent yesterday updating a few of the sticks around the house, itās a bit of a nightmare as it involves a full factory reset and takes about an hour and half to complete start to finish with registering all the apps and getting everything back in place but I can confirm Channels is now working on those TVs correctly.
I didnāt really want to have to go back to the Amazon launcher and go through all the work but this made me realise even if this was something you guys did manage to fix for me it was unlikely that other developers would ensure apps work on previous firmware going forwards as I would be 1 of very few using an out of date firmware version so it seemed daft o stay on an old firmware going forwards
Thatās always been the case for me, Iāve noticed HD and recorded HD work best with Hardware decoding, and the rest of the standard channels work fine on Software decoding, I canāt keep it on Hardware all the time because it stops some of the other standard channels from loading properly
I'll be honest when there isn't a bug both standard and HD cahnnels all work perfectly for me on hardware I never need to go switching between the two options. That certainly wouldn't get the wife seal of approval in my house anyway!
Surprisingly itās all working fine at the moment
