Allow audio sync adjustment?

I use Apple TV, but figured this might be something that would be useful across platform (and i apologize if I’m still in the wrong section.)

What is the possibility of adding an option of “on the fly” audio sync adjustment?
I know some of us have occasional media that will randomly get out of sync. Sometimes for no reason and just for one recording or something. I think it would be really neat if we could swipe down (or whatever you so mid play to get to settings) and adjust the sync seconds of the audio. This would be really useful for those one off recordings that just are a little off sync that it’s not worth doing a deep dive as to the reason. If i realize i am 2 seconds off, swipe down, adjust audio delay to 2 seconds, and resume playing….just an idea

If it’s not possible on the fly (i know apple can be strict) even if it was a platform setting we made adjustments in the main app for. I would have no problem backing out of a recording, going into settings, making a change, and then resuming a recording if it fixes the issue

Actually, I believe this is entirely possible. The video player is based on MPV which does allow for audio sync offsets; I believe the reason it is not in Channels is that it makes for awkward/bad UX to deliver this in a TV UI. (Also, streaming device remotes are far more limited than a keyboard.)

Personally I see this situation to be an outlier, and that is why it probably has not been addressed. Practically, if there is enough demand for this, it can probably make its way into the options settings along with playback speed. (And similar to the playback speed option, I would posit that if it were to ever be implemented, it would be for playback only, and not available to live streams.)
