So I got one of these (for different reasons)

I would love to be able to view downloaded videos via channels locally in iOS ( or iPadOS), but this doesn’t seem possible, at present.
I think path of least resistance would be to save downloads as proper iOS videos, but I’m guessing apple locks that down. Any other way this could be feasible?
