Alternative source for locals

2 of my local broadcasters (CBS and NBC affiliates) are offline due to a catastrophic failure at the mountaintop antenna/transmitter. I think it will be weeks before they get it fixed. Fortunately, I can still watch and record their programming because I have a Comcast/Xfinity subscription and DVR.

Short of buying an old HDHR Prime, is there some other way for me to bring CBS and NBC back into my ChannelsDVR ecosystem (via TVE or otherwise?)

Depending upon your local affiliates, you may be able to get NBC, ABC and FOX via TVE. In the DVR web UI at the bottom of the page is an option "Local Networks via TV Everywhere". Enable that to see if they are available for your login.

Also, if you have donated to Locast and are in a market area that they offer, you can add Locast as a source. However, since they are merely streaming feeds that are originally OTA, this likely will not work for you if your affiliates' towers are down and not broadcasting. (Although, Locast may offer a different affiliate, even if you are still in the market area.)

I found I can log into nbc.com/live with my Xfinity credentials. So I should be able to use that with ChannelsDVR to get back NBC. However, it looks like CBS doesn't support TVE. Period. They want you to pay for CBS All Access.

CBS does offer a live stream with some providers (don't need all access), but Channels can't intergrate it.
