Amazon Prime Freevee TV service

Amazon Prime has changed it "free" TV service to Freevee. Is there a M3U file to add this service to Channels like with Stirr and Pluto?

If so, would someone share the files so I can add it to my Channels lineup. I would like to be able to record some of the programs and movies from this service.

Many thanks.

Amazon Freevee is DRMed, you most likely won't find a compatible playlist to use with Channels.

What content are you interested in? Upon first glance, all of the "live" channels can be found on Pluto TV, Stirr, Plex, or DistroTV.

Freevee, formerly IMDb TV, is not a live TV service. It's an on demand service, and this past weekend I began using the Channels DVR PlayOn Cloud integration to download episodes of the new Bosch: Legacy series from Freevee.

Freevee includes advertising, but PlayOn indexes commercials. The commercials are then auto-skipped in the PlayOn Cloud player or in Channels DVR, although yesterday I found that in Channels DVR commercials shorter than 20 seconds required a manual button press to skip.

Thanks for the reply. Nothing in particular. There are some movies on that service that I can't find available on any of the other streaming service. IMDb is available through PlayOn, but then I'm paying for each download, so was just looking for a way to record directly through my DVR. I'm a little surprised that movies and programs can be recorded through PlayOn, but so far, no problems doing it.

As far as using Stirr, Plex and Pluto. I have those added to my Channels lineup, however, for some reason I don't get very good guide information. In fact, on a lot of channels, I just get the station logo, but no information on what is on. I can click the station and watch what is on at the time, but no idea what I'll be getting until I click on the channel.

I have tried updating the guide information, but it doesn't seem to help. May be that I don't have the correct URL for the guide info.

Please see screen shot. I might get the program name of what is playing at that time or maybe an hour or two forward, but the guide after that just shows the channel name - like Pluto Drama or Stories by AMC - but no actually program information.

If there is a way to fix this, do tell, please!

As always, thanks to al that replied!

You definitely have something wrong going on. Can you copy and paste the url you have in Pluto epg?

Here are the URL's I'm using. I don't get complete guides for Pluto, Stirr, Samsung or Plex. Here are the URL's I am using. All were pulled from discussions in the Channels Community.

Pluto:
https://nocords.xyz/pluto/playlist.m3u
https://nocords.xyz/pluto/epg.xml

Stirr:
https://nocords.xyz/stirr/playlist.m3u
https://nocords.xyz/stirr/epg.xml

Plex:
https://i.mjh.nz/Plex/us.m3u8
https://i.mjh.nz/Plex/us.xml

Samsung:
https://www.apsattv.com/ssungusa.m3u
https://i.mjh.nz/SamsungTVPlus/all.xml

If there are better URL's I can use to fix my guide issue, I would really appreciate that information!

Many thanks!

Sounds like you didn't set it to refresh often enough

All were set to refresh daily. I have changed all to refresh every 3 hours. Will check to see if that corrected the problem.

Thanks for the advise!

Not sure about the other sources, but you only get 12 hours of guide data for Pluto. I set my Pluto source to refresh every 3 hours.

me too. We'll see if it helps. On some of the channels, I don't even get current information. Oh well,
I grew up in West Texas. We only got two channels - in black and white, no less. And we were happy
with that, so I'll learn to live without current guides on some channels!

Does clicking “Redownload XMLTV” fill in the missing data?

Use these instead:

https://i.mjh.nz/SamsungTVPlus/us.xml

Yes, I've tried that, but didn't fix the problem. Clueless why the guide doesn't work for me on all channels. Some of the channels on Pluto show the schedule - while others don't. Refresh didn't change anything.

I use the following EPGs in Tivimate Premium.

STIRR
https://i.mjh.nz/Stirr/all.xml

PLUTO
https://i.mjh.nz/PlutoTV/us.xml.gz

I have all channels with working EPGs

Freevee is going away

Or maybe not.

I'm just hoping they make it adfree for those who have Prime Video.

They Plan on adding adds to Prime Videos unless you pay even to Prime members.

That's true and they have already started. The first ads started appearing on January 29.

Ads seem to be only before you start watching a show. At least, that's what I noticed when watching Reacher.
