it seems almost every time i turn my loft tv on lately, i have to reconnect to my dvr by picking at home, then entering the IP. this has only started recently. any ideas?

Is Bonjour enabled on the server?
Are the server and client on the same subnet?
no bonjour, yes same subnet. neither of those things has changed recently.
if it matters, it's suddenly also taking forever to tune locast channels...10-15 seconds on seemingly every channel change, was previously 2-3 sec if that.
edit: my tivo doesn't seem to be having the locast issues. not sure if that's a relevant point but i figured i'd throw it in as a data point regardless.
If Bonjour is turned off that could be your problem.
like I said, I haven't changed anything. it has always been off and never had an issue before the past few days.
just happened again. diagnostics sent.
one thing i did notice is that i have a second server running that i was using to test stuff when working on the channel renumbering thing i did that apparently i just forgot to shut down. it doesn't have anything connected to it and hasn't been recording anything, but it did have bonjour turned on. not sure why that would have caused this to suddenly start happening though, because i haven't changed anything on there in months (i completely forgot it was even running).
