I was watching Channels on my Shield this afternoon and everything was fine. I'm a beta member so I get the updates and have been using the new beta since it was released - 3.0.
This evening I turned on the Shield and when I ran Channels, it had reverted to a previous beta version 2.1.27.
Update: FYI - I checked my other Shields and both have a new version of Channels waiting to be installed. Both of these Shields were in use all afternoon and evening so I guess they didn't auto-update.
