I’m trying to add a Personal Section I created into my specific android client. When added it does not show up in my sidebar….any suggestions…

Personal Sections are Apple-only right now. You can compare features per app type here:
You can use collections instead of Personal Sections and get the same functionality separating your content by user or groups of users.
And that's not even the complete list of stuff that's missing, it's kind of sad.
