I have a subscription for the Channels plus at our home in a rural community. We have another computer at another home in the metro Phoenix do I need two subscriptions? I don’t want to leave a my main computer on at another location.
No. A single subscription is fine. Just be aware that only a single instance of the DVR can have remote streaming/access enabled at a time.

Most people consider the remote streaming feature of Channels as a huge advantage when owning 2 homes. This means all your recordings are in a single place and no service or hardware is required at the second home.
Computers these days use very little power. I would consider just using the remote streaming feature to keep things simple and having a unified library of content.
