Anyone out there using Channels w/ Starlink?

The reason why I'm asking is my locals (Eureka, CA) are now showing that I'm in Seattle, WA.

As I understand, Starlink uses CGNAT, so that could be affecting geolocation by IP.

Yeah my geolocation and IP address is showing Seattle

You can uncheck/recheck the TVE locals option via HTTPS url in your browser, i.e. https://localhost:8089

Did that and still showing Seattle locals. Only Fox & ABC show up now

Unfortunately, CGNAT brings with it a whole slew of limitations that are not easily addressed. I'm not sure there is an easily implemented solution to this situation.

Yeah I'm afraid of that . I love using channels to record just for the comm skip function.

Not sure if this would help.

When I used to use Locast (R.I.P). I did not live in their service area. I had to run a fake GPS , mock-location software. It was enough to trick Locast.

Might work for your locals.

Do NOT use VPN to try and locate somewhere else. Everytime ibuse NORD it breaks hassling of my TVE channels

I used to do that too, but that trick doesn't work for this situation

That means it didn't use https probably.

Anything on this since I sent you diagnostics?

I see that you guys have done some fixes with HTTPS geolocation. Wondering if this is going to help me with 2 of my locals coming from one place and 2 from another. So far I can get them to show up in the guide but the 2 locals from outside my area won't play

There's some documentation on Channels Support - TV Everywhere Local Channels

You can compare what's coming through on the links to the network sites in the docs above. There are known geolocation issues on some of those sites, and it's out of our control. You should contact your isp and the network website support.

I can get them all to work on their sites but not thru Channels. At this point I don't care where they are coming from, I just want it to work on Channels.

What station callsign do you get on nbc.com/live
