There were a couple of channels that I wasn't able to get EPG info from using the built in options, so I'm needing to find them another way. I have started using WebGrab++, but I noticed that I'm not getting the (Live), (New), (Repeat) tags, and so the DVR isn't able to work. Long story short if someone has gotten it working similar to the built in EPG can you let me know some tips?

I use WebGrab++ and the experience is very inconsistent source-by-source. I have seen the tags only for 1 EPG source so far. I assume the underlying EPG sources do not expose this data, so the plugin is not able to capture it.
Which source had that, I tried with tvguide so far?
It worked for me with some channels in telekom.cz EPG (I use Webgrab for European channels not covered by the Channels EPG provider)
