Reaching out to see if anyone has tried the 11.4 TvOS beta with Channels yet? If so, how is the experience? I am aware that betas often break things so I normally stay away from the beta cycles. This time I have the itch to try out Airplay 2 and Homekit integration so I am considering hopping into this beta round. I would start with my least critical AppleTV before I update any of our main AppleTVs. I’d probably have to upgrade iOS on my Ipad as well.
I’d just skip it 
I’m using it, haven’t noticed any issues. Airplay 2 is really only useful if you update multiple devices, i.e. your phone, to 11.4 beta also.

Maddox, I may delay a bit and try out the DVR Pre-release instead. Always like to be playing with something new somewhere in the home technology world.
Dkrach, if I do try the TvOS beta I’ll also update my iPad to 11.4 beta. I’m not ready for a beta on my iPhone as I am too dependent on it and any significant bugs there would cause more pain.
