When focus is given to the Search option in the sidebar, the app freezes and is completely non responsive. Exiting out and reopening the app returns me to the Search screen again (as I presume it's remembering your last used option) and the app freezes straight away. I'm unable to watch TV from the app on Shield TV at all now without uninstalling and reinstalling.
Sorry for posting a beta problem in the normal Android TV community but I wasn't able to post in the Beta community.
I think I've found the issue, it seemed like the app didn't have Android audio permissions and was freezing when trying to trigger the assistant voice search. After restarting the Shield and then opening the app, I was promoted to give permission for audio and everything is working again.
