My Apple IOS client will connect but both Apple TV Clients will not connect. They had been working great. I can't think of anything that's changed. Any help appreciated

I'm running on a Spectrum wifi network. I have been able to make the connection for a few days then with no changes that I am aware of the Apple TVOS clients would not connect. Deleting the apps and reinstalling brought no joy.
I've rebooted the server and now I do have a connection. But this has happened before. I've lost a bit of confidence in my ability to resolve these unpredictable issues.
When I look at the server "troubleshooting" all light up green.
I've configured the router to insure a static ip to the server and insured that the Spectrum Network "protection" is turned off.
Hoping for a bit more stability.

Does your server connect to your network via wifi or hardwired?
It looks like you installed the DVR server on a macbook. The clients will only work when the laptop is on and the lid is open.
On the Apple TV under network settings what IP is shown? Does it match the same subnet as the IP of your DVR
I did learn that lesson on the MacBook. Always on lid open.. configured to not sleep.
I’ve double checked all the IP addresses to insure that clients and server share the same network. Seems correct.

I thought about hardwiring the server but the MacBook doesn’t have a port.
I guess I could find a lightening to Ethernet adapter if needed.

Using the ip of the router with the :8089 no connection.
As of now clients are functioning.
There is a difference between your Mac DVR and your router
You need to use the IP of your macbook
100% recommend that any server be hardwired as opposed to Wi-Fi. You can NEVER go wrong with Ethernet.
Sorry for the confusion. I am using the IP of the Mac DVR.
