I can't seem to find any sort of settings on the apple tv app. For instance, I can't logout to get to change to another channels server, I can't set bitrate limits for videos.
I have half a dozen TVs, I can't push 18Mbps to every one of them I need to set these limits and get transcoding.

There’s a whole Settings section in the main navigation at the bottom. Is it missing for you?
Streaming quality is under Playback.
You can sign into another server with the big Channels button in Settings.
There are a LOT of settings.
You can even set them server side.
In the app i have zero settings. The only settings I can find are on the service side which is a bit of a PITA for other people to set.
Can you provide a screenshot or photo? Settings being missing is not something that’s ever been reported.
If it says About at the bottom of your navigation instead, then your client is set to Kiosk Mode via your server. It hides Settings.
kiosk mode definitely isn't set, but I'll add that to server side as 'disabled' and see if that resolves it.
That was it. server side config wasn't setting kiosk mode at all, maybe it got set in the app manually by someone. forcing it off via server side got my settings back.
