Apple TV update available, should I?

"An update is available. Do you want to update this Apple TV now?"

I have an Apple TV 4k 32Gb previous version. Do I want to update it NOW, or could it cause issues with Channels? I assume it's the TVos 17 I've been hearing about?

Unless you use HomePods, I can't imagine any reason not to.

I wanted to make sure the new firmware wasn't causing any issues afterwards, using it for my Channels client. I am running 5.7.3 Channels on it.

The only issues I have experienced have been:

  1. The PIP button focus issue that still has not been fully tracked down (I just disabled the button to get around it);
  2. Selecting HomeKit cameras to view gets dismissed if there is a video still playing (instead of automatically pausing the playing video as in previous versions).

Otherwise, I have no issues. (And the increased icon density is welcomed, too.)
