I have an Apple TV that keeps setting port forwarding on my router which causes remote access to my channels DVR to fail. If i shutoff upnp on my router and set port forwarding manually it works. Why would only one of my Apple TV do that?
When I originally setup channels DVR I used the ip that is now on the Apple TV. Could the original ip be somewhere in the channels DVR configuration? ASI said if I manually configured port forwarding it works.
I have verified it is something on the channels server. I shutoff upnp on router. The entry for wrong ip goes away. I then enable upnp on my router, then reenable remote access and the bad entry for wrong ip address comes back. Where is this kept?
Did you try rebooting the router
Yes, I can reproduce over and over. For some reason it is enabling 8089 for 10.192.192.5. It should be 10.192.192.3.
