How can we use Our PR4100 for DVR without a HDHR-Prime box and cable card?
We just moved from Texas to Washington State and begrudgingly gave up our grandfathered Spectrum cablecard that worked great with HDHR-Prime and WD PR4100. In Washington, Astound Broadband internet and cable TV is our go to but Astound past cablecard support is no longer available.
Theres TVE...and you can get a HDMI Encoder to pipe in any other channel that TVE doesn't have via ah4c or adbtuner
I would also recommend getting a HDHR for OTA TV signals as I doubt Astound has any clear QAM channels that you can get
