Thanks @Eric. Done. cc: @tmm1

@koltasi an you confirm what version number of the app you are running?

I believe I upgraded to 2023.10.04.1634 before the captures.

I suspect the same random peak tuning times will happen with the HDHR app. Happens with my local Fox 3.0 channel too.

What version of the client app are you using on your TV?

9.18.1700. Looks like there is a newer TestFlight. Doesn't seem to autoupdate like it used to.

I updated to new version and works wonderful. Great job, guys! Sorry I didn't catch that earlier. Thanks for the help.

@tmm1, @eric,

I tested with Boston 3.0 stations:

  • 102.1: 19 seconds
  • 125.1: 9 seconds

In both cases, that was not just getting video, but getting audio, too. It takes about 3-5 seconds for audio to kick in on any ATSC 3.0 station or recording. So, for instance, if you skip ahead on a commercial, it will take another 3-5 seconds for the audio to start back up.

nvm, I had the Android Release notes thread Muted.... seems they did push the ATSC 3.0 slow tune fix to Android beta apps.
