I just wanted to say that I like the change to the recordings screen. There isn’t an “up Next” and there isn’t the “submenu bounce up” like on the other screens. I like that when I goto “movies” the submenu isn’t hidden so you can see the current context.(Recently Recorded) I only have one movie so I can’t say how obvious it would be if I had more that one was auto selected.

It’s funny because after looking at the new screen where everything is visible, I scrolled over to “On Now” and it was blank! Then I realized that there was a hidden submenu and it said “no news”, so I just needed to change my context.

Anyway, I like it.

(And can’t wait till the show screen can show seasons)

That looks ridiculous! I also have a problem with some shows showing episodes all over the place. I would like to at least see an option to show episodes in the correct order of succession, rather than recorded date.

It is still there, just now with right-ward scrolling instead of a grid.

Since the on-now has a news category, as well as the web-ui, it would be nice to have this category in the recordings section also.

Additionally, the new option to sort shows alphabetically takes over 1/4 screen space. Thats a lot of screen real estate just to add sorting.

Lastly, I miss having the top-menu accessible by swiping up. Everything else in the ATV interface works with the top menu, making the shows, movies, sports section feel out of place.

Well I guess since I only keep one show and one movie, my screen stays pretty clear. That one show also is ten seasons, and records up to 3 misc episodes a day. I would expect if I were keeping 24:Legacy it would be less obvious, because it would be a single season in order.
