Audio clipping issue

Not sure where to post this - looking for troubleshooting help. I'm really impressed with Channels so far - I'm looking to cancel cable in a few weeks. Only issue I noticed is that after watching live TV for over an hour - audio "clips". (Tonight was the first night I stayed on one channel for a bit - was watching Monday Night football). It was a not a broadcast issue, I switched to cable, and audio was fine. Issue was fixed when I exited back to the guide and reopened the channel.

Can anyone point me to how to troubleshoot? I saw an old post about changing audio in ATV to "best available" but couldn't find this setting.

Hardware: HDhomerun, UNRAID server, Apple TV.

Does it happen in the official HDHomeRun app on the same Apple TV

Wow that was quick. I haven't tested the HDHomeRun app too much - the interface annoyed me. I'll give it a shot if that will help.

I have used VLC, but have not noticed the issue. It seem to happen when the "buffer" filled, so I'm thinking in may be a server issue. I'm guessing though.

Try toggling Settings > Playback > Advanced > Tuner Sharing

Sorry for the delay. I only had the issue one other time recently, and turned off tuner sharing on the server side. Now however - I'm hearing a slight tick randomly. I don't believe it is a reception issue, as it happened on a channel with consistent 99% signal quality. I'm also hearing it in HDhomerun.

Thanks for the help.
